I have a land on which I have started some construction about 5 year ago. Now I need to finish the construction (first floor) and do the finishes. I am looking for an English speaking project manager to rebuild my stone house in the Ardeche. Complete roof to be replaced. All electrical and underfloor heating. Walls are only thing left standing after a major fire. Looking for someone to run project from start to completion as I will be in the UK. 90 square meters plus of roof. This is currently roofed with bitumen "ondulee", which is in poor condition. A new slate roof would be preferred. 2. Make repairs to the existing slate roof on the main part of the house. Various slates are loose or fallen out. The ridge tiles also need attention. 3. Repair the cement pointing around the gable window in photo 3. 4. There is some minor water ingress from around the capped chimney above the gable in photo 3. This water enters the house and has made the timber in photo 1 damp - which now has woodworm problems that need to be addressed by stopping the ingress of water (flashings around the chimney?) and treat the wood. Other timbers inside the house photos 4-8) were pressure treated about 15 years ago and still have the injection points. My French is a bit limited, but my wife speaks excellent French.
