Our purpose was originally aimed at helping Foreign home owners, living in France to find good quality English speaking, registered trades people, that they could rate but also involved helping good quality trades people to find work that they were confident enough to be rated on and get a recommendation.
The same purpose remains but as the business grew we realised that many of our members were more than happy to deal with French and/or English speakers and that integrating these (and other) features with French artisans and French homeowners in partnership with www.trouverunartisan.fr, would offer all parties a wider and better choice. If you are an artisan/trades person/service provider a better/wider choice of jobs and if you are a homeowner or architect or indeed a builder looking for trades, a better/wider choice of artisans etc.
As a result, no other business relationship allows Native and non-native French people to share details about jobs and trades/artisans. Both sites now let Home Owners (English, French Speaking and indeed other languages) to find English/French-speaking (and other languages) trades people/artisans/service providers. This will mean for example, that an English-speaking home owner will be able to find English-speaking or French-speaking trades people/artisans/serviceproviders and so will French-speaking home owners. It will also mean that English and/or French-speaking trades people/artisans can find work from English and French-speaking customers/homeowners. We have also captured other language information from both parties (customers/trades) to help service the growing numbers of other nationalities who either have property or work in France. A truly integrated service that no-one else offers, owned by French and British nationals.
One paramount issue for us is to provide a very specific service. This site is dedicated to helping people find trades people/services or make available those services and trades to homeowners. We specialise in putting quality trades people and homeowners in touch with each other and with that in mind, we have features like the automatic email notification and language selection.
When a job is posted or a trades person joins in your area, you can be automatically emailed.
You can post a job for ALL relevant trades to see but we do not ask for details of your projects in order to gain competitive advantage, because we do not offer building or gardening etc services ourselves. If you prefer to look for a trade or service yourself, you can do so; you do not have to tell us about your projects.
